Shipping Policy

SAME DAY DISPATCH FOR ORDERS BEFORE 1PM AEST*

*Small goods only, not applicable for equipment orders dispatched via courier

We use Australia Post as well as various couriers to dispatch all orders both within Australia and Internationally. If you are in Sydney you will also be able to select from Normal Post, Express Post or Store Pick up (freight free). Do not choose 'Pick up from Store' if you intend for your goods to be posted, as it will result in delay.

*Same day dispatch subject to stock availability. While we do our best to maintain ongoing supply, some situations are beyond our control. If goods are not expected to be available for dispatch within 4 business days from order, we will get in touch with the following options: you can wait, exchange (for goods equivalent in value or higher), get a credit or to get a refund. If you choose to wait, express post fees are not refundable. Note expected delays of up to 48 hours in dispatch during major sales.     

Our store is located at: Rosebery Coffee Hub, 647 Botany Rd, Rosebery. Open 7 days, plenty private parking

Australia Post and the couriers we use deliver parcels Monday to Friday, generally between the hours of 8am to 6pm. 

Please note Australia post 'Safe Drop' policy which means there is no need to advise authority to leave at front door as the mailman will leave the parcel if its safe to do so. Please be advised that Australia post is not an insured service and in an event of non delivery claimed delivered by Australia Post, no refunds or re shipping are available. If you want to guarantee a safe delivery please request 'Require Signature' in the order comment and we will charge your card for $2.95. 

All goods are shipped from Sydney, Australia.

*Standard delivery time is between 2 to 6 Business Days depending on location
*Express delivery time is Next Business Day to major capital cities only, otherwise 2-4 business days, subject to state.

Please note that shipping quotes to rural / remote areas may vary to the quoted below. Once order was placed we will run a  quote calculator and will get in touch to advise final fees. International Shipping

All good ordered outside Australia for international shipping are Tax (GST) free, but you may still be charged customs, duty and other taxes by your local customs authorities. We are not responsible for such charges and we undertake to make no calculations or estimates in this regard. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. If you are buying internationally, you are advised to contact your local customs authorities for further details on costs and procedures. As the purchaser of the Goods, you will also be the importer of record and as such should ensure that your purchase is in full compliance with the laws of the country into which the Goods are being imported. Please be aware that Goods may be inspected on arrival at port for customs purposes and We cannot guarantee that the packaging of your Goods will be free of signs of tampering. This can also result in delays which are beyond our control.  

Please note International orders processed with a credit card, may be subject to ID Verification and we will get in touch once your order is placed to advise if that is the case and of the process. This does not apply for PayPal or orders paid via funds transfer.  

Please note any FREE SHIPPING promotions does not apply for international shipping.

Currency
Orders will always be charged in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST. Di Bartoli cannot be held responsible for any currency conversion differences, and/or charges made by your bank.

Equipment Processing and Delivery - Domestic
Your quality coffee equipment will change your life and we know you’re keen for it to arrive quickly, safely and in perfect working order.
If the delivery process does not meet your expectations, we want to hear about it. But in order to make sure your order is received on time and in great shape, it is important that we explain how it works:

Your Order Process
We make sure your equipment has been tested prior to dispatch and if you've requested or consented to, we also calibrate your new grinder. This normally takes us 24 hour during weekdays and if we're out of stock and require to bring more from our warehouse, it'll take another 24-48 hours. Once your order is ready for shipping or collection, we will notify you. 

Delivery Date
Upon dispatch, we email you tracking notification where you can gauge an estimated date for delivery. We have aligned ourselves with delivery companies which we believe will do their best to deliver products by the estimated delivery date. While we make every effort to deliver by this time, all dates specified are estimates only. Once the equipment has left our store you will receive a dispatch notice with a tracking number allowing you to track the goods whereabouts online and save some time contacting us. Standard TNT Road Express delivery can take between 2-7 working days, based on location. Contact us for an eta to your state. 

Make sure someone is home
Our couriers attempt to deliver to business or home addresses between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee a delivery time. Therefore, if you're not able to guarantee someone will be available to accept delivery, please nominate an alternative address that is occupied all day. Should the courier not find anyone to accept the delivery, there will be an additional charge for re delivery or you will be asked to pick up the goods from the courier depot yourself.

Correct address
Please make sure you provide the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. Should you enter the wrong address, you will be liable for any redirection or re delivery charges.

Safety and Insurance
All our Espresso Machines are sent via TNT Road Express strapped to a skid and insured. In the unlikely event that goods are damaged in freight or not delivered at all, we will send you a replacement. 

If your order arrived damaged 
For all insured goods, please inspect your package when you receive it from the shipper. If the box is visibly damaged, please note that when signing for it. After opening the package, if you notice any damage from shipping, please contact us immediately and DO NOT USE the machine. You must contact us within seven business days. Make sure that you keep all packaging (boxes, shipping labels, packaging material, etc.), as the shipper may want to inspect the package. 

If your order doesn’t arrive
It is your responsibility to inform Di Bartoli if an order does not arrive. Once we learn an order has not arrived by the estimated delivery date, we will follow up with the courier. Please note that if an item is not delivered, we will ask you to wait for a reasonable period before dispatching a replacement item. Replacement items will be dispatched solely at our discretion. Di Bartoli will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from a late delivery. By placing an order, you agree that a late delivery does not constitute a failure of our agreement, and does not entitle you to cancellation of an order. We will also not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.

Equipment Delivery - International

Di Bartoli does not provide International warranties regardless the brand of a machine you have chosen. And while all equipment is tested prior to dispatch and is strapped onto a skid to minimise damage, we cannot guarantee for it to be delivered in pristine condition. While these incidents are rare, you are advised to take your own insurance on your equipment order to cover any repair work needed in an event of damage in transit or should goods go missing. We also recommend to read all material attached to your machine to ensure adequate water quality used and cleaning schedule followed to ensure the longevity of your gear.  

Warranties and Repair 

I live interstates, what do I do if my machine breaks down?

Di Bartoli is a national company with a retail outlet in Sydney but we sell coffee machines to every state in Australia as well as to South East Asia. With an unparalleled technical knowhow of Prosumer machines, which we have been specializing in for the past 8 years, we have developed a National Service Agents Network that supports us in taking care of our warranties in all major capital cities. That means you do not need to send the machine back to Sydney, it will be looked after locally (please contact us for an advice on your local agent).

What happens if I live in a remote location outside a capital city?

Realistically, good service agents aren't available widely outside major capital cities. To cater for our remote customers, we developed a preventive scheme, aimed at minimizing breakdowns, as follows:

    1. Advice and a tailored solution for water quality
    2. Advice on the best power management to your machine
    3. Support material including step by step guide on how to perform the best cleaning routine for your model
    4. Advance cleaning routine support for the mechanically oriented
    5. Advice and guidance into parts and technical work required for DYI light servicing
